Hast Thou Forgotten?

Hast thou forgotten the first and most important amendment to the Constitution? Hast thou forgotten what the words of this amendment mean? Hast thou forgotten the reason for this very amendment? Apparently, the anti-first amendment group “Freedom from religion” hast forgotten or does not want to acknowledge what the amendment really states. These people believe that we as Americans have a right in which we can keep people from talking about what they believe in. An article from a news website should explain the situation. It can be found here http://foxnewsinsider.com/2013/06/06/roy-costner-iv-south-carolina-valedictorian-rips-speech-and-recites-lord%E2%80%99s-prayer .

So, according to these anti-first amendment ignorant bigots, we the people have a right to suppress what someone is saying simply because it may offend us. In fact, it is the exact opposite. You see, we the citizens of the United States of America have a right to say exactly what we want to say whenever we want to say it. We don’t have to have permission from anyone to say anything that we want. This whole incident is just an example of how backwards this country has become. Thankfully, this kid was in a place that still has some idea of our American values and did not punish this young man. I would call him brave, but the real glory belongs to the Lord for putting such a brilliant kid on this earth to remind us of where we come from, for those of us who need to be reminded.

I am calling BS on the whole “Freedom from religion” group’s attempt to defend what they are doing here by saying, “The valedictorian who so insensitively inflicted Christian prayer on a captive  audience at a secular graduation ceremony, is a product of a school district  which itself set an unconstitutional example by hosting school board prayer,”

First of all, this kid “inflicted Christian prayer on a captive audience”? No, did each and every person in that room not have a right to leave the room whenever they wanted? Yes, they could have left the room, therefore these words were not “inflicted” on anyone, and nobody at this place was a “captive”. This kid had a right to say these words, period. Could he have faced disciplinary action from the school from breaking their rule? Yes. Did the school have a right to infringe upon this kid’s rights by making this rule? Not in my eyes. Did the school have a right to keep this kid from saying what he was saying? No.

I think Toby Keith says it all in his song “American Ride”. Check it out while you keep calm and do work.

What Are the Keys To Success In a Free Market Economy?

With Democrats and Republicans continuously arguing over how to handle the economy, you might be a little bit confused as to what is good for who in a free market economy. The fact is that no matter how much both parties argue over who has the better talking points, nothing gets done. I am here to propose basic solutions to common problems. You may have heard these solutions before, but I am going to tell you exactly why and how they work.

First of all, the first step to success for everybody in the nation is lowering the unemployment rate. When you dig down deep, you find that it all comes back to taxes and regulations. The lower the taxes and the fewer the regulations, the less unnecessary money a business will have to spend. With more money being kept by the business and with business being easier to handle because of fewer regulations, the more the business will be able to make money and expand. Some regulation on business is necessary to keep things that may be harmful to people off of store shelves and such, but unnecessary regulation is easy to spot and get rid of. If you raise taxes and regulations on businesses and business owners, the more unnecessary money they have to spend, and the more money being lost by the business means the less possibility of room for growth for the business. When a business grows, guess what happens; they hire people! When a whole bunch of businesses are allowed to grow in a free market, a whole bunch of people will be hired. When a whole bunch of people are hired, guess what happens to the unemployment rate; it goes down.

When your unemployment rate goes down and more people have jobs which is good for the workers of America, that means more people are paying taxes. When more people are paying taxes then the government brings in more revenue and it is all-around good for the economy which is good for everyone. When all of this happens, it shows up as a lot of good for whoever is leading the country. However, before you have more people paying taxes, you have to have some way to be able to pay for the tax cuts. In order to cut the intake of money by the government you have to cut how much the government spends. When you take a close look at what the government spends money on, you find some really rediculous things that can take up a lot of money even though it is not necessary to spend really any money on. I just want everyone to realize that raising taxes on the rich is a lose lose situation for the workers and for the business owners. We can tax our way into recession, which is good for Socialism and even Communism because when you’re in a recession for long enough, people tend to become desperate to get their country back in shape, and some people will do anything to do this and so anything besides free market seems good to them even thought the solution to all of the problems lies in free market itself, you just have to know how to encourage growth and success for everyone.

Please help the low-information voters to understand basic economics. Keep calm and do work.

Shoutouts; Topic 6: Kidnappings and Breaking News

Hello, everyone, and thanks for reading again tonight, I really appreciate all of everyone’s support. I’m glad to see peope interested in politics and supporting someone who may not have the same opinions as them, but still is willing to say what they believe and share it with others. I have a few shoutouts for t_bluz, everydaypowerblog and chainsoff. I really appreciate the feedback. It helps me a lot. Today, the big news of the day is the three women who were held captive all for around ten years who were rescued. I know this isn’t really a political issue, but there really wasn’t any big political news today, and if this trend continues I might hav to stop doing the news of the day until something comes up, bu for now I will give my commentary on this ordeal and the man who helped rescue the women, what a charcter.

So, these three women were kidnapped all within a three year period, were held captive for a decade by three men, according to the news article. What I can’t understand is how, in a neighborhood full of people, did the police get away with not doing their job for so many years, because according to what I read, the police were actually called by a neighbor who claims she saw “a naked woman” in the backyard. So, the police are quick to respond when a kid is posting lyrics to a song, but not when there is a naked woman living captive in someone’s home. But then again, they always say the best place to hide something is in plain sight. Anyway, just a thought, but even thought this is already a great story, it gets even better. We got to see another “Ain’t nobody got time for that” moment with the guy who helped save one of the women from the home, and if you haven’t seen the video, just look up “Ain’t nobody got time for that” on youtube.

So, the man who saved the first woman was a neighbor who heard her calls for help and got her to a phone so she could call the police. This guy is quite a character. In an interview, he said “I knew something was wrong when a little white girl ran up to a black man”. That’s kind of self-demeaning, to be honest, but it is pretty funny which is why I wanted to share it.

Luckily, as I am posting this blog, there is breaking news stating that Mark Sanford has won the South Carolina Congressional race that has been all over the news lately. Sanford is a former Governor of South Carolina who was running for the Congressional seat against the sister of political satirist Stephen Colbert, Elizabeth Colbert Busch. This is a pretty big win for the Republicans in South Carolina and Republican in general especially because of all of the media coverage. It’s good to know that there is still a place where the Republicans can still get their base out. Hopefully, this is a sign of good things to come in the mid-term elections in 2014, but I’m knocking on wood. Please leave feedback on whether or not you believe this is a good sign or that it means nothing, because it is in a place not really known for housing many liberals.

Thank you again for reading and supporting my blog. I hope to see some feedback on my questions because the mid-terms really are a big deal to me and I’m sure to many Conservatives. This really could be a big deal or it could be nothing. I hope you read tomorrow’s blog. I’m not quite sure what exactly it will be about, but I know there will be a good topic out there somewhere.

New Blogger; Topic 5: Terrorism vs. Rights?

Hello, everyone I’m back after a good weekend fishing. I hope everyone had a good weekend as well. I have a very good topic I will be discussing today. I also have a couple of shoutouts for a few followers. A shoutout to Safiyyah Frans and last100swipes. Thanks for the support guys, and don’t forget to leave feedback. For this week I will be covering the most important news of the day and giving my commentary.

My topic today covers a teenage boy who was arrested on terrorism charges after he posted lyrics to a rap that included references to the Boston bombings and the White house. The references were said to be threatening. The teen faces twenty years in prison. Oh, by the way, this incident happened in Massachusetts. So, why did I choose this story to cover? Well, when I read the story, I really could not understand when some of the people in the United States decided to give up their rights to stay “safe”. Ayone can see the breach into the rights of this kid’s rights.

Luckily for this kid, I believe the defense will have the best case in the trial, but that’s assuming that they will even have a trial. I honestly don’t see why this isn’t a bigger story, I mean if I hadn’t been looking through all the articles I could find today, then I would’ve never even heard the story. You see, this country was founded on a few basic rights, and the mos important of those are life, liberty, and privacy of the individual. Do you think what has happened to this kid is a reflection of these basic rights?

There is not much more that can be said about this really, besides the obvious which I have already stated. If this is the first you have heard of this story leave some feedback with your opinions on whether we should give up our basic rights so that we can give more power to the government to keep us “safe” and why it is a good or bad idea. Sorry for such a short article tonight, but it’s late and I’m tired. Thanks for the support and feedback.
